I had the swine flu vaccine injection a week ago. Someone told me it could take up to 2 weeks before you are actually immune and it’s working fully. Is this true, or am I already safe from getting the swine flu?
I am pregnant but I haven’t yet spoken to my doctor about the swine flu vaccine. My sister is in nursing school and her instructors are telling the students that the vaccine should NOT be recommended for pregnant women because it hasn’t gone through clinical trials yet and it isn’t proven to even fully vaccinate against this flu. And my friend’s OB told her she is telling her family NOT to get the vaccine. Thoughts? I will not be getting the vaccine, if you’re wondering. I don’t want to be experimented on. Thanks.
I recently received an H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine shot, and started having mild symptoms such as fever and congestion. However I am not coughing or sneezing or anything like that. Can someone who accidentally drank from my cup now catch swine flu? I understand that the Shot form of the vaccine does not carry the live virus, so it shouldn’t be able to spread. Am I correct?
I highly doubt the swine flu vaccine will ever be available to the general public. First they state the vaccine will be in October. Lie. Now they say the vaccine will be available in November. Not likely to happen.
Will only a very select few ever get the vaccine (such as hospital workers)?
I personally think the vaccine will not be availabe to anyone this year or the next. Why do you think this is?
Perhaps some of you are lucky. We don’t have any in our town. I’m 31 years old. That means I’m not going to get it.
Every news program is as confused about the pending deliveries of the swine flu vaccine.
We should learn from our mistakes, this is why the history of all of mankind’s significant endeavors is taught. Where would we be today if this was a serious pandemic: in our grave s while the pharmaceutical manufacturers get wealthier?
If it was still so good as a generic drug, why don’t they make the swine flu vaccine over the counter? If they want entire populations to take the vaccine, and obviously there aren’t enough doctors to prescribe each individual dose, why not try and get the FDA to pass an evaluation of the vaccine? After all, wouldn’t you want the FDA to examine it before it reaches patients? And if this vaccine is supposedly good for so many people, why not just put it in grocery stores and drug clinics?
