“Being Blonde”
Ashley is a scientist and she on the verge of discovering the secret to immortality. When the world is coming to an end with various flu viruses spreading around, the scientists are working on a cure for the flu’s which are spreading. It turns out that what she discovered will change the fate of humanity so she tries to tell her theory to other scientists, but they keep blowing her off because she’s blonde and young. With the help of her friend, she tries to alert the world of what is to come, but no one listens to her. Meanwhile, there is this other scientist, a very successful male one at that, named Malcolm. Malcolm is the same age as Ashley, is brunette and is extremely smart. Even though they both have the same IQ level, the scientists hand over the responsibilities of the life-saving vaccines to Malcolm. Ashley is crushed by this, but is determined to hand over the DNA of immortality over to Malcolm. He won’t accept it at first, being he doesn’t take her seriously as she is always perky and makes jokes out of almost everything, and her Dad is the CEO of the company who gave her the job. Ashley tries to prove them wrong by showing them how the immortality drug affects rats, but when she gives it to the rat it dies on the table. She is able to figure out in her head why the rat died, and says that it will work on humans. The scientists laugh it off and demote her to assistant, even though people are still dying of this flu. Malcolm tells Ashley that it’s nothing personal and gives her advice on how to get her position back; he admits being jealous of Ashley and they form a friendship. Ashley takes Malcolm to a sorority party and both of them stumble into work the next day drunk, and after both of them receive a warning notice, Ashley knocks over the immortality drug mistakenly. Malcolm picks it up from the floor and it seeps into his hands, making him very sick because of the bacteria on the floor mixing with it the wrong way, being the drug has to be clean. Ashley kisses Malcolm on what seems to be his death bed, but he is revived after an emergency surgery to get the drug out of his system. Replacing Malcolm, a brunette girl named Jennifer is put into action, and she immediately takes a disliking to Ashley after Ashley admits to her she’s in love with Malcolm, who just so happens to be Jennifer’s ex-fiance. Jennifer steals the immortality drug and shows it to the scientists, and they believe her. During a press conference she is unable to explain the drug so Ashley, realizing no one will ever take her seriously, is able to help her out by saying what Jennifer apparently ‘meant’ to say. Jennifer later hands over the formula to Ashley and Ashley gets millions of dollars for it, a managing spot back at the company, and apology from the scientist and Malcolm’s heart. She buys the company from her Father for five million dollars and fires the people main scientists who doubted her. The End.
