Mon, 09 Nov 2009 18:08:10 +0000 http://www.natx.com/topblog/is-there-a-flu-vaccine-for-those-of-us-with-severe-egg-allergies-yet#comment-102 nope. people with mild to moderate egg allergy are urged to go ahead with the swine flu vaccine, because the benefit of the vaccine is thought to outweigh the discomfort of the allergic reaction. my problems not with allergies though, im vegan, and although i recognize the importance of vaccinations, its against my morals and belief system to use eggs. so until the AMA has a long-due realization that the flu vaccine could be grown in something other than chicken eggs, well just have to wash our hands with a little more soap and hope we dont get the flu nope.
