is the dna got fom household dna extraction always gelatinous white in colour or is it really transparent like a glass in some cases like human dna extraction??or was it that i went wrong in the procedure and dna should always be somewhat whitish glob like stuff??"

DNA when in solution should be clear and "snotty" in texture. Yours is likely whitish if you have protein contamination.
