Can someone help me with sentence structure for an application essay?
Okay, so I am writing an essay to get into a Biotechnology Camp.
I have to write two essays an I need help with a few things
1) I hope to excel "into" advance placements courses such as….
Shoud it be into or in ( presently im not in any AP courses)
2) I am expecting this program to be a prolific and enjoyable experience for my ……..
What is another word for prolific except productive
3) This camp introduces various techniques in modern biotechnology research such as…..
What techniques should I put after "such as" that are specific to biotechonology or are just fit all. Below are a list of laboratory techiniques that is going done in this camp:
Laboratory Activities: Students will explore topics in three general areas of science: microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology. Activities will include: growth, isolation and characterization of microbes, protein chemistry, chromatography, enzy-mology, regulation of gene expression, DNA isolation analysis, amplification (PCR) and genetic modification using standard laboratory model organisms (bacteria, yeast, Dictyostelium, Euglena, C. elegans).

1. You hope to excel in advance placement courses
2. I expect that this program will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience
3. Why are you telling the camp administrators what the camp does? Don’t they already know?

1) in
2) yeah, don’t use prolific or productive. Say enlightening or educational or character-building or something that describes the impact of the program on *you.*
3) I don’t think it makes sense to use your essay to tell the camp staff something they already know, i.e. what activities are offered. Better to say, "This camp introduces several techniques in modern biology that I’m particularly interested in, such as … " then pick two or three that are most exciting to you.
