Yes, your first answer is correct, C.
The third question is poorly worded. I think they must want B. since those are all characteristics of organisms and not examples of methodologies.
The second question is more tricky. A. could be your answer because sex cells are haploid, some animals are entirely haploid or triploid, and certain cells in our bodies (like liver cells) are routinely polyploid. But, B. could also be a correct answer if the intent is that it has to apply to all animals. Sponges don’t have muscle, but muscle is a specialized tissue found in animals. I’d go with A.
