How often does one receive a tetanus vaccine?
I was vaccinated as a baby, but I received an additional tetanus vaccine when I was 16. Is that normal?

Has anyone who has taken the Gardasil vaccine for HPV had any bad side effects?
For anyone who doesn’t know, Gardasil is a new vaccine that can prevent certain types of HPV, especially genital herpes and cervical cancer. They are doing mass vaccinations here in Canada for young girls in school.
I got exposed to a chemical at work, and now I feel sick…?
I work as an undergrad researcher in a microbiology lab. I was using a chemical: anhydrotetracycline HCL (from Sigma), a derivate of the antibiotic tetracycline (it’s a plasmid inducer) I was wearing a dust mask and everything, but when I opened the bottle to weigh it out, I felt nauseas and dizzy. I put the bottle away and later, I felt fine.
The next day, I go back to lab, and I got sick again – without even opening the bottle. I’m still sick two days later.
My face feels hot and I feel a pressure on the back of my head… a can only think of it like a balloon. yesterday, my neck hurt, but that pain has mostly subsided.
My professor said that anhydrotetracycline isn’t that harmful, and nothing like what I’m feeling is described on the MSDS. I haven’t gone to the doctor yet, though.
Could I have gotten a virus at the same time? Could the chemical have aggrivated a different condition? Could I be allergic to it?
Are there any doctors here that can help me?
