What are your thoughts of the cervical cancer vaccine?
What are your thoughts on the HPV vaccine? Do you feel that this is a major issue? Isn’t the best way to prevent HPV to not be sexually active outside of marriage?

Im doing an essay and its worth half my years grade so i can’t really afford to fail so any help would be greatly appreciated. The title is Recombinant Protein Production Processes. Help anyone?
Please explain why toxoids used in traditional vaccines may not elicit the same immune response compared to as when an active toxin counterpart is used. In connection with that, what are te advantages of DNA vaccines compared to the traditional vaccines?
I’ve heard that the flu vaccine can be beneficial, but also that it’s not without it’s potential negative side-effects. Do the benefits outweigh the potential risks?
Also, I heard of a doctor who spoke against the flu vaccine, saying that there were so many strains/variations of the flu that getting one particular flu vaccine didn’t really make any difference. Any truth to this?
I can the get the shot free at work, which is why I’ve been considering the shot, but I’m interested in hearing other accounts about this first.
Thanks.
X, Y, and Z are linked genes. Based on testcross data, the frequency of recombination between genes X and Y was determined to be 33.1 map units. Between genes X and Z, the distance was 11.8 mu; between genes Y and Z, the distance was 21.3 mu.
What is the order of these three genes on the chromosome?
I know that in some countries (eg. the US, France), it is usual for children to have a Hepititis B vaccine.
I am due to study abroad later this year, and have been told I need to have the vaccine, but was just wondering, why are health professionals seemingly so reluctant to give this vaccine? I have already been quizzed 4 times on why I need to have it!
The FDA has approved the new vaccine that prevents cervical cancer. There is much controversy because girls as young as 12 can get the vaccine. How do YOU feel about it.
(I’m just sick of looking up information, can’t find anything relevant.)
How can scientists turn genes on and off? Also, what are some implications of this? In other words, if scientists figure out a way to control expression of an introduced gene, how might this affect the medical community and the field of gene therapy?
Thanks in advance!
I guess I just want a couple of people to confirm this. From what i’ve read to make a recombinant protein (that is artificially produce a protein) you mircoinject a bacterium with the sequence of dna that produces that protein. The bacteria you injected the sequence with will multiply and produce said protein correct?
