NTC is a well-known producer of highly-purified, endotoxin-free plasmid DNA. In addition to providing DNA, the company also provides the highest specific yield (HyperGRO™) fermentation process, which is commercially available via tech transfer (>2.5g/L). NTC also sells HyperGRO fed-batch kits, as well as frozen cell paste containing the highly-concentrated plasmid DNA. The process has been effectively scaled to 50L and 300L, at the NIH Vaccine Research Center (Frederick, MD) and at GE Healthcare (Uppsala, Sweden, Ref. 1), respectively.
