This uninterrupted chain of process allows you to economically transition from pre-clinical studies, to cGMP, to in-house production in a seamless fashion, without having to ‘re-do’ studies due to process changes.
NTC’s E. coli fermentation process is the most efficient one available in the world today, producing up to 1.5 g/L in fed-batch fermentation. This allows us to beat competitor’s pricing, while providing the highest quality products available.
One secret of NTC’s process is a highly enriched cell paste that serves as the starting point for downstream processing. For example, a culture producing 1,000mg/L requires the processing of only 1/10th as much biomass as a culture producing 100mg/L. Thus, the resulting DNA has to be more pure (see comparison below)
