Fermentation cell paste (E. coli) or plasmid isolation: Record breaking yields of 1.5 g/L, or more!
For the do-it-yourself approach to plasmid production, NTC also offers highly concentrated E. coli cell paste containing your plasmid DNA, which can be processed in your own manufacturing environment, without the need to optimize or perform the fermentation yourself. We send you the pre-packaged, frozen E. coli paste with the desired amount of DNA (one or more grams), as determined by the Qiagen mini-prep method. Depending upon the efficiency of your downstream process, you will typically need to start with 1.5-3 grams of DNA in the form of cell paste in order to obtain one gram of purified DNA. Because NTC has the highest (g DNA/g cell paste) yields from its process (typically, 200-1,500mg/L), the final product is more pure and environmental waste is dramatically reduced.
